Best Cybersecurity Certifications to Consider in 2019

Cybersecurity professionals are in great demand these days and certifications are a must for these professionals. If you are considering one or more cybersecurity certifications in 2018, or looking forward to getting certified in 2019, then check out the following list of top certifications that are in demand. According to the Information Security Careers Network (ISCN), the following is the list of the best cybersecurity certifications to have in 2019 based on their survey of cybersecurity professionals. Certification providers EC-Council, ISC², and Offensive Security each have two of their certifications listed among the top 10. Several of these certification providers also offer training courses to the public. You can also get trained by independent third-party training companies, which often offer a lower price for the certification courses and their courses are designed to help students prepare for the certification exam.

According to Forbes, “35% of cybersecurity jobs calls for an industry certification, compared to 23% of IT jobs overall.” The top cybersecurity jobs in the U.S. metro areas pay as much as $380,000 per year.
